We’ve been busy this summer at The Kentucky Center, making some changes that will make a BIG difference in how you experience our shows. The most significant improvement is in Whitney Hall, where we’ve completely updated the rigging system so the acoustics are pretty near perfect, just in time for our Kentucky Center Presents 2011/2012 season. Read all about it in this article from the Courier-Journal.
That’s not all. You might have noticed that Faribolus and Perceval, the statues from our front terrace, have been missing. Well, they’ve been in Ohio being completely restored, and when they return in October they’ll be placed in their new home inside the Main Lobby. Away from the elements (our Ohio Valley weather can be rough!) they’ll be around for generations of future arts lovers to enjoy. Read the Courier-Journal’s article here. And you can read about our entire art collection here.
