As part of her Gheens Great Expectations residency, violinist Jinjoo Cho will perform a short recital on February 3 (2 p.m.) at Classical 90.5 WUOL Louisville in Louisville Public Media's performance studio on 4th Street.
Jinjoo Cho won the Gold Medal in the 2014 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, and is a returning Kentucky Center Gheens Great Expectations artist. This recital is free and open to the public, no R.S.V.P. is required to attend.
During this in-studio recital, Ms. Cho will perform unaccompanied works by Bach, Zwilich, and Paganini. She will be joined by pianist Jeffrey Jamner in works by Mozart and Faure.
WOUL's Daniel Gilliam will also interview her about her upcoming performance of the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5 with The Louisville Orchestra at the Gheens Great Expectations Concert on February 4 (The Kentuck Center, Whitney Hall, 501 W. Main Street, Louisville 40202). This concert will also feature the Louisville Youth Orchestra. This event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is also free and open to the public with no ticket or R.S.V.P. required.
