The Kentucky Center is in its fourth year of leading the Anne Frank Bearing Witness Project which provides arts-integrated Holocaust education throughout the state.
This year, in partnership with Western Kentucky University, KET, and the Jewish Community Center (JCC), The Kentucky Center will co-present an exhibit of murals about the Holocaust created by students at Western Kentucky University’s Visual and Mathematically Precocious Youth (VAMPY) summer camp over the past two decades.
A public exhibit of the murals and reception will take place at the JCC on Sunday, September 24, in the auditorium from 4 - 6 pm. Learn More
The murals will be exhibited in Bowling Green and in Danville later this year. KET will produce a short video about the history of these murals. This project is funded by the Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence.
