Awesome Chris!!!! Thank you, you just made my day!!!

Lori...here's the latest from our Programming department. I removed my previous comment so I could post this updated language instead. From the artist's rider, the wording is basically "no audio, no video, no professional cameras, no laser pointers with removable lens." Programming says you should be OK with point-and-shoot cameras, and fine with flash. Programming says they appear to be quite strict on the no video and no audio policy - which our security team will have to enforce. I'm hoping that makes you a bit happier?

Thanks for clearing that up Chris! Kinda disappointed that I can't take pictures though.

Thanks again,
LoriAnn

Hi Chris, thanks so much for the explanation about the seating! Can't wait till the concert. Did you ever find out about whether we can take pictures or not?

Thanks,
LoriAnn

Holly

Ok here I go again! Is the pit seating directly in front of the stage and then the regular seating behind that? I want to be as close to him as I can get! What seats am I wanting to get? Please help! I am gonna buy but I want the best and the seating is confusing to me. Thanks so much! Please put in order from the closest on back. I would appreciate so much!

Holly

I know I am sounding like an idiot but I have yet another question about seating. The picture on this website of the brown theatre shows the middle aisle and a side aisle. I see no area that could be a pit. Is this the correct picture of the Brown?

Trixie

I hope The Brown and Louisville are ready for GLAM NATION to hit them!

I cannot wait to get into town, and begin spreading glitter and love!

This is going to be the best SUMMER ever!

Thanks Chris for everything ur doing!

For Lori Ann...and anyone else who may be having difficulty figuring out where your seats are in the Brown:

If your seats are on the main floor, you'll see printed on your ticket info regarding "DOOR" as well as your seat number. If your tickets are in the balcony, you should see the letters "BALC" printed right above your seat numbers.

I'm checking with our Customer Service department to find out what the official policy is regarding taking photos/video at the concert. I'll be back with an update.

Can't wait for this concert!! How do you tell if your tickets are on the floor or in the balcony? Mine just says Door D Row G Seats 305 & 306? I can't tell from the diagram chart where my seats will be. Also are we allowed to take pictures at the concert? Thanks so much!!

Ellen

Thanks Chris!

In response to Ellen's request that a diagram of the pit seating at the Brown be available on our KC website...thanks for this suggestion. I would guess that half the shows at the Brown utilize chairs in the pit - so it would make sense to have that view available for ticket buyers. I'll send a couple of emails here to IT and Ticketing. Not sure what's involved in having an additional diagram posted - but I'll follow up on your request.

Seriously sucks that this sold out so fast and, apparently, sold out to scalpers. Also seriously sucks that whoever decided to bring Adam to L-ville chose such a tiny venue. Cozy, yes...and he did't need to be at the Convention Center, but someone really under-estimated Adam's drawing power. It would be nice if you'd either move him, and sell more tickets, or have him do 2 shows and limit initial sales to those of us who live outside of Louisville (but in areas too small to ever book him), who couldn't get through by phone or by web on the first day of sales, and figure out a way to prevent scalpers. This was my first experience with the Brown...my experience with other KY Center productions has been very pleasant. I'm very disappointed in the short-sightedness here.

Ellen

Chris, can the seating diagram showing the pit section be published somewhere on the official Kentucky Center site? (e.g. "View seating chart" link on the Adam Lambert page etc.) I think it would be better for people to know about the pit seating.

Trixie

Chris.
would it b possible for me to email you?
~trixie

Trixie

WOW Chris, thats a wonderful answer!!!. I cant sleep or eat now...what these words will do to me...EVERY RHINESTONE EVERY fleck of GLITTER! omg. amazing. I hope they dont have to call a Glambulance for me!!

Chris Long

Holly - Thank you for your kind words and enthusiasm. Both are greatly appreciated. Trixie - the pit is three rows deep. My best guess is that there might be 30 seats per row. You are going to be close enough to count every rhinestone and glitter fleck!

Holly

Thanks for being kind enough to answer all of my questions! I will see Adam one way or another at the Center as he is a great showman and singer. I saw him in Indianapolis and was just blown away. I encourage all of you to find a way to see this show. You won't be dissapointed. Thanks again.

Trixie

Hey clong..how many folding chairs are in the pit section? Im lucky enuff to have a seat there! ...and Im dying to know

C. Long, Kentucky Center

Holly - I'm not endorsing buying seats from scalpers, but I totally understand that you want to see this show any way possible. That said, pit seats are the three rows right off the stage. There will be folding chairs there, but my guess is that people in that section will stand through most of the show. The alphabetical rows start right behind the pit seats, so row "C" is the equivalent of 6 rows back from the lip of the stage. Chris

Holly

Wow! I am so dissapointed! I don't feel like I was given ANY chance at all to get a ticket as the phone line was busy every time and the website was jammed! Well someone sure got the tickets and the majority are probably not Adam fans as they are already all over the internet for jacked up prices! This is what I have to resort to now so I have a question. I am still not understanding the seating chart. What seat would I get if I chose Orchestra C row T? Also what about pit seating? Is this a standing area and would a pretty short person even be able to see? Thanks so much!
