Earnest, articulate, and extremely talented, guitar sensation Orianthi wants to inspire as many kids as possible to find their voice, find their sound, and make music.
You can see her live in Louisville performing along with Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta when the Glam Nation Tour stops at the Brown Theatre on Saturday, July 10. Tickets go on sale to the public on May 21.

Now in her mid-20s, Orianthi has already opened for Steve Vai on tour (twice, once at 15 and again at age 18), played showcases with Carlos Santana, and was hand-picked by the late Michael Jackson to be the guitarist for his "This Is It" tour.
In this video interview with Musician's Friend magazine, Orianthi talks about the importance of paying your dues and not taking negative criticism to heart. She talks about idolizing B.B. King, Vai and Santana, practicing 5-6 hours a day, and playing for 5+ years in a Top 40 cover band before getting a record deal.

Her "I Believe" release was a calculated move to introduce her to a younger pop/rock audience with singles that would get plenty of commercial airplay. Although she wants to expand her audience, she hasn't sold out! Her true love is the guitar and a 100% instrumental set of songs is being groomed for release in the near future.
