Brian Regan is known for his "clean" comedy, meaning he doesn't use vulgarity in his act. Regan didn't make a conscious decision to be a clean comic, it just happened organically. “It happened to be how I think as a comedian,” Regan responded. “I think about everyday things that don’t go in a certain direction. … Every once in a while I’ll think of something blue and wonder what it would be like to throw it into my show. But I have to be considerate. There might be a boy in the audience holding a red balloon. I don’t want to tell a joke that would make the balloon pop," (deseretnews.com).
Regan has been doing stand-up comedy for more than 30 years, and continues to tour all over performing over 80 shows a year. Even though he travels through most of the year, he doesn't have plans to stop doing stand-up anytime soon. With specials including "All By Myself", "The Epitome of Hyperbole", and "I Walked on the Moon" Regan has gained a wide fan base ranging from children to adults. He is also a regular on the David Letterman having appeared over 20 times. His comedic influences include Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, and Rodney Dangerfield.
The comedic feature that Regan is best known for is turning the everyday mundane encounters and making them hilarious including bits about a hospital visit, watching late night television, and even a phone call to UPS (to watch click here). With a high-energy set and his relatability to the "average Joe" Brian Regan is a sure bet when looking for a quality comedian.
