Hummel Bassoon Concerto, First Movement
Dvorak New World Symphony
Keith Buncke is in his third year of study at California's Curtis Institute of Music. A winner of the Music Academy of the West's Concerto Competition, Buncke performed Hummel's Bassoon Concerto with the Academy Festival Orchestra in Santa Barbara in July 2013. He has been a featured performer on NPR's From The Top, and was named a semifinalist in the Presidential Scholar in the Arts competition in 2011.

The Gheens Great Expectations Program brings some of the world’s finest young performers to Louisville for performances and residencies that focus on engaging and inspiring the youth in our community.
Past Gheens Great Expectations artists have included pianist Joyce Yang, violinist Jinjoo Cho, clarinetist Julian Bliss and violinist Caroline Goulding.
In classrooms, community centers and on the concert stage, Gheens artists inspire the next generation of great performance artists to excel.
