Last month Kentucky Center President Kim Baker and the Center's Development team hosted our first annual Volunteer Appreciation Celebration with breakfast and mimosas on the Whitney Hall stage! During this inspiring event, we recognized more than 100 steadfast Volunteers who not only give of their time every year, but also make a financial gift of support to the institution.
Volunteers in attendance had the chance to meet staff from the various Kentucky Center Education and Community Arts programs they support and received updates from the directors, including presentations by Arts in Healing and Access Services.
Long-time Volunteer Dina Vuturo shared with her peers why she decided to make a bequest to The Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts and her renewed passion as an "investor" in the welfare of Kentucky's student artists.
If you love the Arts, we invite you to join us - as a patron, a volunteer, and a donor.
Individual Support makes a significant impact on the scope of our work in the community and across the state. To find out how you can support the Center, please visit our website - or contact Jennifer Webb, Director of Annual Giving, (502) 566-5159.
